Dr. Pacheco Montoya conducts a focus group during the first implementation of HEY!  in 2018 with 11th, 9th, and 7th grade students to hear about their experiences with the curriculum. 

This section presents data that we have collected during our research that illuminates how students perceive and interact with the content of the curriculum and the interactions promoted by it. It provides examples of how HEY! is helping students think critically, inform their decision-making processes, and empower themselves to act against gender inequality and child marriage. The excerpts presented here come from evaluations and studies that we have conducted throughout our experience with HEY!
